Project Purpose is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring, educational awareness, and volunteer work in the DMV area serving minority and marginalized communities.

 

Project Purpose’s mission is to foster a diverse and safe space for our community to flourish. We aim to provide various types of resources to ensure stability, health, and excellence within our community. Our volunteers hold different backgrounds in degrees, expertise, and lifestyles. We aim not only to be a resource to the community but also to educate them as well through various initiatives ranging from Black History, Foster Care Awareness, and Diabetes Awareness.

 

​Executive Director,India Richey created Project Purpose as a platform in the DMV area to increase support in the community ranging from financial to mental health. Project Purpose was created to lend a helping hand to someone in need. Through mentorship, educational awareness, and volunteer work, Project Purpose can serve as a direct resource to youth and those in need.
