About Project Purpose, LLC
Our Mission
Project Purpose is a nonprofit community service organization dedicated to mentoring, educational awareness, and volunteering in DMV communities.
In doing this, we want to significantly improve the mental health and well-being of all members of the community through public service events, educational seminars, support, and advocacy.
Our Vision
Through innovative programs and seminars, youth can identify goals and gain confidence by identifying with Project Purpose’s various informative and interactive workshops. India Richey, Founder & Executive Director
Founder and Executive Director of Project Purpose LLC has a passion for helping people and advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves. She is a graduate from Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration. She has worked for numerous non profit organizations specializing in mentoring, sports and youth activities. She is currently the Event Coordinator for the Nyumburu Cultural Center at University of Maryland, College Park. In doing this, Project Purpose has the fundamental foundation of supporting and creating programs to ensure the youth in urban communities with a diverse skill set and knowledgeable practices.

Breon Purnell, Founder & Information Technology Specialist
As IT Specialist, Mr. Purnell is tasked with all the needs of Project Purpose on a technological level. He is responsible for the organization’s online presence and brand. Breon is a graduate of Year Up and specializing in Information Technology. He has worked in the IT field for multiple organizations such as TekSystems, Serco, and Exelon.
